To all our Patients and the Community:
Due to COVID-19
The Dental Council, The Ministry of Health and
New Zealand Dental Association encouraged all practices to postpone any non-urgent care and elective care until further notice.
Dentists, hygienists and other oral health care workers are at higher risk for transmitting and contracting the infection, not only are they in close proximity to their patients, but they also handle drills that use water to cool as well as aerosol rinsing devices that can propel germs and droplets from inside the mouth into the air.

Therefore, for public safety we at Peninsula Dental Centre have decided to close completely for four weeks from Wednesday 25 March until 28 April unless the direction has changed.

However, Dr Mike Rabih will be available by phone (027 510 7066) to provide any needed advice during this difficult time.

Please Stay safe.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs): TMJ & Bruxism

How can we help you?

We are happy to answer questions about our services and procedures.

These are a selection of some common questions that patients have. If your question isn't answered here, please contact our office. It's important to us that our patients understand their dental care.

TMJ & Bruxism

Having headaches can be a symptom of TMJ disorders. To determine whether that is the case, we will need to evaluate your joints, bite and oral health. If your symptoms are due to TMJ, we will provide treatment options to help relieve your symptoms.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
