To all our Patients and the Community:
Due to COVID-19
The Dental Council, The Ministry of Health and
New Zealand Dental Association encouraged all practices to postpone any non-urgent care and elective care until further notice.
Dentists, hygienists and other oral health care workers are at higher risk for transmitting and contracting the infection, not only are they in close proximity to their patients, but they also handle drills that use water to cool as well as aerosol rinsing devices that can propel germs and droplets from inside the mouth into the air.

Therefore, for public safety we at Peninsula Dental Centre have decided to close completely for four weeks from Wednesday 25 March until 28 April unless the direction has changed.

However, Dr Mike Rabih will be available by phone (027 510 7066) to provide any needed advice during this difficult time.

Please Stay safe.

Ms Prithika Vijayan, BDS

Dentist

Hi there,

I am a general dentist who has joined the staff at Peninsula Dental since July 2015. I recently moved to Wellington from Hawkes Bay and I live with my husband in Whitby. I enjoy all facets of general dentistry, with particular interests in Root canal treatment and minimally invasive dentistry. I strongly believe that involving patients in the clinical decisions made regarding their dental treatment produces best results and am strongly committed to explaining all treatment options available and tailoring them to suit patient needs. My focus is comprehensive dental care and oral health education with a gentle and caring attitude.

I am keen on keeping myself abreast of the advances in dental science and research thereof.

Besides Dentistry, my interests are cooking, music and being a homemaker.

I am so looking forward to meeting with the people in the community.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
