Do dental implants require any special care?

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.

Dental implants are intended to blend in among your natural teeth.

One of the advantages of this is that you can brush and floss them the same as you would with your regular teeth. While implants never get cavities (and never need root canals!), you still want to continue brushing and flossing to keep your natural teeth and your gums healthy.

We are back to alert LEVEL 1. We are open for routine dentistry and dental hygiene. Urgent and emergency appointments are still available and new patients are welcome. We are here to help, so if you are unsure, have any questions or need any advice on making an appointment, please contact our practice by phone on 04 388 8038 or email us on pdental@xtra.co.nz. We will continue to apply strict safety measures in order to keep our patients, staff & the community safe.
